Arizona Trip

I like the stories that tell how the Lord gathers different situations and melds them together to create something new- all things work together for His glory. My name is Michael Seth and I would like to tell you a story about a trip to Arizona.

It began on Wednesday, October the 14th- that was the day my search had ended. For the previous six months I had been having a vision of a ministry motor home. But everything I came across was either too expensive or not the right specifications. Finally, while browsing online a particular unit caught my eye. Usually an motorhome like this would go quick, but this particular one was still available. It was located in Phoenix, Arizona. But, that didn’t faze me- I knew that this was the one. As a confirmation I had set a price cap- and surprisingly the owner told me $100 less than my price cap. Another confirmation was a $34 direct flight with no change in the middle of the day. How often does that happen? I called and told the owner that I was on my way with the cash. The owner even told me that he would tune it up and replace all the belts for the trip back.

That was when I had a deep feeling that getting this motor home was just another carrot to get me to where I needed to be in order to do a particular job for the Lord.

I called on a ministry friend of mine to see if she might go with me to help with the drive back and off we went to Phoenix.

Matt, the owner, met us at the airport. And, as he drove us to see the motorhome, he began to pour out his heart to us. And before we had even looked at the motor home, Matt decided that it was time to give his life over to the Lord and received Jesus! I told him that he was the reason we were there and that the motor home was just a perk for going to Arizona. It turned out to be just that. For the next two days we were based at his house ministering to him and preparing the vehicle for the trip home.

We decided to prayed about which route to drive back south-east to Houston. After praying, though, we decided to take a north-east route through Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Amarillo, and then to Houston. We had planned to drive straight through taking turns. But the Lord had other plans for us. Matt’s decision to follow Christ turned out to be just the beginning of what God wanted to do. So we slowed our roll way down and turned all our time over to Jesus. And then it was one divine appointment and miraculous healing after another. Seriously, it was miracle after miracle of every sort you can imagine. God was taking full advantage of our desire to serve Him. Too numerous to account for here, but I will share some of the highlights.

Driving north to Sedona we stopped for fuel and food at a Safeway store where we met Allen Kelly who is a local writer and publisher. During our conversation it was revealed that he had a severe motorcycle accident several years prior and had undergone three surgeries putting pins and plates in his left leg. This caused one leg to be shorter than the other, which caused him to have to use canes to mobilize himself. I asked if he would like to be healed and, of course, he responded “Go for it”.

When it was plain for all to see that one leg was considerably shorter than the other, I commanded his leg to grow out and unlike most other cases it popped with a loud noise and shot out to every ones amazement! He then discarded his canes and walked briskly through the store with no limps. We later saw him walking through the parking lot to his car as normal as anyone else.

Next we mer Mr. Felipe Escabera. He had been deployed to Iraq multiple times and was now battling post traumatic stress disorder. We prayed for him and he received emotional healing. His father in law, Jamie, had a knee replacement surgery. After years of requiring crutches, he was able to run around the parking lot with his granddaughter immediately. This was a direct answer to his wife Mary Lou’s continued prayers for him.

Here is a video of Juan’s healing. And a photo of Jose, a doubting spectator. But Jose received healing in legs, feet, knees and chest after witnessing Juan’s miraculous healing of 5 broken bones in his left wrist and hand.

While we having two new tires put on the motorhome, we met Ms. Karen Jellis from South Dakota. She was traveling in her van with her two dogs and spreading the good news about Jesus and her near death experience. What a testimony she has.

I explained to these sweet Nuns that any born again believer can apply authoritative healing to show God’s love and to propagate the gospel. “And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8
