I believe that Jesus is the Word that was made flesh - the only begotten Son of God. I believe that Jesus willingly offered Himself to be the sacrifice for my sins. He made a way for me to be reconciled to God. By faith I accept that sacrifice. And I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and all authority has been given to Him to the glory of the Father.
Father, I confess, I need your forgiveness. I surrender to Your Grace. Thank You Lord. I, in turn, forgive all those who have sinned against me - everyone that has ever hurt me I forgive them right now, Lord. I turn everything in my life over to You. All the guilt and shame- take it from me right now. Pour over my body Your healing. Thank You Lord.
Teach me to walk in the newness of Life. Wash me, Lord, of all my old habits and purge me from everything that would distract me from You. I ask for You to give to me a thirst for the Bible. Soften my heart so I can feel You guiding me and teaching me how to abide in You. I will seek You everyday. I will make a place where I will go and pray to commune with you Lord. Stay close to me, my Savior.
Come into my heart right now and baptize me with the Holy Ghost. I ask You to give me understanding and boldness to speak and to move in Your Name. I believe You have given me authority to speak in Your name and minister to those around me because I am Yours. I will walk in your Love. My heart is forever Yours
Matthew 6:6-15
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
